Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC), a US$1.4B division of Abbott, helps people living with diabetes make progress in achieving glycemic control. ADC is on the cusp of disrupting Blood Glucose Monitoring market with a revolutionary new sensor-based technology that wirelessly transmits glucose results. FreeStyle Libre will virtually eliminate the pain and hassle associated with routine blood glucose finger sticks. FreeStyle Libre will provide people living with diabetes and the health care professionals that care for them with dense glucose data that the patient and the health care professional can use to identify and treat glycemic control issues (leading to improvements in HbA1c and reduction in hypoglycemic events).
For this exciting and growing division, we are currently looking for a
Business Excellence Manager based in Finland
Take lead on and overseeing business excellence operations and demand planning processes for the ADC affiliate of Finland
Plan and budget the affiliates operations
Map operational effectiveness and lead BEX projects in the affiliate
Secure day-2-day business excellence
Operates cross-functional to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvements
Track and update the organization on performance
Secure progress, accuracy and simplicity within the BEX department
Manager and supervisory responsibility toward demand and order entry team
Responsible for regional and Area LBE/IBP submission supporting regional Controller and General Manager
Plan, lead and execute all affiliate demand planning processes
Routinely ensure that Country Manager, and other managers, obtain correct and relevant data and information for efficient decision making
Ensure margin by accurate budgeting and update on spending to Country Manager and affiliate management team
Map BEX structures in the affiliate to ensure optimal processes of such and optimal interface with other external and internal processes and systems
Offer ad hoc BEX support to the organization when requested
Act as the BEX knowledge center for the affiliate, and hereby also challenge the ADC team on assumptions, business models and performance, as well as suggesting new or improvements to existing business models
Monitor market and competitor movements and propose counter measures.
Initiate and lead new product requests
Personnel responsibilities can, and most likely will, be included at any given time
Be the strategic advisor for the organization, and especially the Country Manager, on Business excellence related tasks and issues
YOUR PREFFERRED BACKGOUND
+/- 10 years of relevant experience in business/commercial excellence, financial or demand planning role.
High competence in spread sheet development, maintaining and enhancement
KPI tracking, profound insights to financial systems and such database
Forecasting and demand estimating, and the ability to use analysis in an operational context to support ADC team in decision making processes
Insight to the consequences of customer behavior on financial targets
Fluent in Finnish and English
