Abbott Field Technical Engineer AF in Veenendaal, Netherlands
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide practical & theoretical Clinical Support for Abbott AF division with a main focus on ESI and EP/AF product portfolio to existing or potential internal and external customers with specific reference and focus on released ESI and EP/AF products. Primarily the activities of the FTE will carry out the strategic support directed by the FTE Manager AF and sales plans directed by the Business Unit Manager AF.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To be conversant with all Abbott AF product portfolio. To understand and be able to professionally present the clinical merits of each product and the comparative considerations of alternative therapeutic approaches.
To construct and present the educational programmes designed around the corporate concepts of customer support, as agreed with the FTE Manager AF/CRM. This to include new user centre training, start-up programmes, EP procedures attendance and follow up presence. To provide a training resource to all Abbott AF staff.
To provide technical assistance whenever requested, both to AF staff and customers, with a dedicated emphasis to the Netherlands.
Promote and sell the whole AF product line with the geographic limits of the Netherlands and with a dedicated emphasis on Netherlands
Develop Training and Support programs for customers in the Netherlands
Identify potential spokepersons/publishers for product clinical data
To participate in local and international workshops
To be fully trained on Abbott EP portfolio and to offer a back-up solution when requested

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES
Preferably IBHRE qualified, with extensive experience in the theory and practice of Clinical Pacing
Fluently in English
