Associate IT Business System Consultant

Job Description

The Associate IT Business System Consultant is responsible for the process definition, measurement and analysis of the services provided by BSS Run, including internal resources and service providers . A functional subject matter expert, as well as an expert in analysis, they are responsible for the interpretation and presentation of performance measures to enable senior leadership to understand process performance, report progress against targets (SLAs), and proactively manage goal delivery in alignment with the performance expectations of the organization.

The Associate IT Business System Consultant utilizes operational performance data to characterize opportunities for improvement, and works in partnership with senior leaders and operational groups to drive process optimization and efficiency. They also have responsibility for periodic analysis, process adherence and reporting of service metrics.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as an operational process SME for BSS Run.

  • Conduct ongoing vendor performance analysis, monitoring and management.

  • Ensure smooth operation of processes by following up with Tower Leads, Release Managers, CSMs and Providers to complete tasks in a timely manner.

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities and track results.

  • Assist in business relationship management, business strategy and planning, portfolio/demand management for BSS Run

  • Document and train teams on internal (Svc Management/Run) processes.

  • Create and maintain SharePoint lists and libraries as needed to support Service Management Initiatives.

  • Develop processes and tools to ensure compliance and measure effectiveness.

  • Establish metric/performance reporting approach; track Service Provider performance and ensure business viability of service levels.

  • Support regular service reviews; manage and audit Service Provider performance and productivity relative to Service Levels.

  • Conduct ongoing vendor performance monitoring and management.

  • Establish metric/performance reporting approaches/processes.

  • Continually refine/improve reports for accuracy and clarity.

  • Provide insights on report content to various audiences.

  • Prepare and deliver report information to various stakeholder audiences as needed.

  • Generate Ad Hoc reports for management.

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

  • Sharepoint/SharePoint workflow experience a plus
