The position of Connectivity & Capabilities Leader is within our Infectious Disease Emerging Markets (IDEM) business unit located at Lake Forest, IL. This role is the thought leader for IDEM’s digital transformation strategy, owns integrated portfolio of digital programs and oversees end-to-end execution management of all major connectivity and digital solutions projects. The Connectivity & Capabilities Leader will report directly to the Director of the NPI Program Management Office (PMO).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General:

  • Serves as advisor and visionary towards digitalization of the business:Defines platform and the shift of most testing modalities towards a digital andconnected mode.

  • Facilitates decision making and develop strategy deployment working inclose collaboration with cross functional leaders to drive long-termconnectivity transformation roadmap.

  • Defines and drives execution of Connectivity product & project roadmapto meet growth goals.

  • Establishes Connectivity program management governance and roles &responsibilities

Key Projects:

  • Program Manager for high-profile Connectivity project (Annual revenuetarget $200MM)

  • Establishes overall project strategy & governance

  • Leads cross-functional coordination of commercial execution activities

  • Integrate Navica / credentialization into customer segment models andsolutions (private industry, transportation, education, tourism, events, etc)

  • Develop solutions for above segments integrating product, workflow anddigital platforms to enable total solutions selling

  • Program Manager for Sympheos (Real-time data collection and epidemiologicalmonitoring tool):

  • Accelerates program go-to-market execution and all associated elements ofsuccessful implementation to gain position with Country MOH adoption and value

  • Facilitates monthly Connectivity Steering Meeting to review business caseand bridge to technical product offering / timing of availability

  • Leads Sympheos pipeline enhancements and manages addition of newepidemiologies (i.e. Malaria, HIV)

  • ID Now: Drive 100% connectivity of instruments via gateway for visibilityto instrument usage, consumption, sales execution

  • Integrate ID NOW data with Sympheos Epi reporting visibility

  • Leads barcoding technology roll out to enable Solutions (Malariasurveillance and inventory management, HIV hot spots, Navica credentialization)

  • Manages cross-functional team alignment: R&D, Marketing, Engineering,New Product Introduction, UDI Quality requirements, and multiple manufacturingsites

  • Connectivity to R&D application development and data usage

  • Digital Lateral Flow Program advisor:

  • Develops full solution roadmap and scope of digital lateral flow totransform technology platform

  • Serves as advisor to project team on overall program strategy and vision

BASICQUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

  • ABachelor’s Degree which could include supply chain, engineering, science, IT orbusiness disciplines

  • 15 or moreyears of experience in Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing, SupplyChain or related function, preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical orconsumer products

  • Experienceworking with senior leaders and developing strategy deployment plans

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanceddegree preferred (e.g. MBA)

  • One ormore professional certifications or equivalent experience (e.g. PMP)

  • Experiencein program management of new product through the development and productlife-cycle processes.

  • Experiencewith integrating digital transformation into existing value streams

  • Experiencemanaging with ambiguity; demonstrated ability to take ownership of problems,exercise sound judgment and independently determine appropriate course ofaction where precedent may not exist

  • Strongcommunication skills – in English in written and verbal; briefing,presentation, education/training skills

  • Ability towork in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment

  • Ability tocreate & manage a vision, think strategically, plan and organize, innovate,analyze complex data and situations, and exercise sound judgment

  • Collaborative:Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and groups and bring various partiestogether to integrate and align on a course of action

  • Organizedand able to effectively prioritize

  • Fastlearner, intellectually curious and agile: able to quickly grasp and apply newscientific, clinical, or business concepts

  • Effectivein regulated environment: maintaining compliance while achieving commercialgoals
