Primary Job Function:
Works with business and IT management as an individual contributor to lead department level IT Quality, Regulatory, and compliance projects, or critical initiatives, or provide assistance to Program or Project managers on phases of larger projects. Drive business excellence by working with Program Managers to create process and project improvements including establishing a true project management organization (PMO) in the IT Quality and Regulatory Compliance organization. Primary liaison between IT QRC and business areas and works cross functionally with BTS and Quality organizations to ensure alignment on projects. Measure and establish key performance indicators and metric improvements to ensure projects are progressing compared to original plans.
Core Job Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for supporting IT project management (PMO) and Quality program initiatives in the following:
Responsible for IT compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques and assists in the development of standards and procedures.
Project manages or supports initiatives/projects according to milestones, managing issues/risks, and within budget constraints.
Manages metrics and track and trending when needed for IT Quality project portfolio.
Identifies and implements Quality process improvements and future states.
Identifies and establishes formal PMO processes for the IT QRC organization in conjunction with the Program Manager.
Identifies and help develop project management skillsets in the IT QRC organization.
Establishes and maintains productive relationships with all levels in the IT organization, business function, and with external partners.
May coach junior colleagues
Works with minimal management direction
Monitors and organizes the efforts of technical and business support staff
Exercises latitude in the approach to problem solving
Work is reviewed for soundness of business judgment and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved
Determines and develops approach and solutions to problem
Bachelor’s degree; no advanced degree required
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
4 - 7 years’ experience
