Main Responsibilities:

Need to apply IT and business knowledge with experience to formulate IT solutions for business problems. Work closely with clients on activities of moderate to high complexity. Consult with clients and IT personnel to develop solutions to business or technical problems. Gather and document detailed data and design requirements, develop and execute test scripts. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, and assist in the development of related project proposals. Devise data verification methods and standard system procedures, participate in unit and system testing, prepare program test data, test and debug programs. Ensure IT projects are completed on time. Comply with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Gain valuable global and cross-functional experience, as well as exposure to business areas including contracting, pricing, sales and finance. Establish and maintain productive relationships with all levels across the division and with external partners. Communicate with coworkers effectively, and lend to a positive attitude in the workplace. Be highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented and flexible as support and project priorities change. Participate as a technical team member in analysis, design, programming, testing, and documenting of system projects and enhancements for Global Contracts & Pricing. Provide day-to-day support including problem resolution and coordination of operational activities. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations for improved system operations, control or enhanced business functions.

Skills/Experience:

8-10 years overall IT experience required, including experience in development and/or application support. Previous experience with data warehouses/operational data stores, database design/architecture, or with adhoc reporting tools a definite plus. At least five years of experience with business impact analyses, requirements gathering and documentation, and database concepts is required. Prior experience supporting or implementing pricing, contracting, rebating, or incentive systems, or supporting a data warehouse or operational data store is valued. Outstanding troubleshooting, written/verbal communication skills are essential; must be independent, self-starter and customer service oriented. Successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, perform work using existing standards, methodologies & processes and understand other systems/business processes relationship to each other. Must understand and have previously worked with an established SDLC. Experience in testing and protocol development is preferred.
