For our Diabetes Care department, we are currently recruiting for a Market Access Manager.
The Market Access Manager will be responsible for:
Understanding, describing and prioritizing most relevant (influential, accessible) market access stakeholders (payers, governmental bodies, industry associations, professional associations and other stakeholders) for local Abbott Diabetes Care(ADC) organization/business
Securing Market Access and Reimbursement for ADC products in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Monitoring and anticipating relevant reimbursement developments and creating action plans to address upcoming market access challenges.
Defining ADC value proposition in the context of unmet need to create a compelling value story.
Participating in the strategic development and implementation of argumentation to ensure optimal market-access within the therapeutic domains and maximize ADC market place opportunities
Conducting negotiations with influencing stakeholders
Supporting the Tender process, through the development of product dossiers and revisions to allow optimal price and to insure the access
Developing appropriate communication platforms to reinforce the value messages for our products (e.g. workshops, payer info material and product category).
The required competencies/experiences for this Market Access Manager role are:
At least 4 years’ relevant experience in pharma/medical device industry, health policy or related functions
Fluency in English, French and Dutch
Strong negotiation skills and ability to make sound business arguments to influence external decision makers
Existing network to local market access stakeholders
Broad knowledge of government and private payer reimbursement
Flexibility to travel about 50 % of the time within Benelux
