Abbott Diabetes Care Germany (ADC) is looking for a Business Excellence Manager (m/f) , based in Wiesbaden. The position holder will be responsible for short and long term sales and operation planning and driving the operational excellence in demand and distribution as well as organisational effectiveness through project management.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Planning: participate in development of affiliate strategy together with management team, develop strategy for areas in the related department

  • Sales & Operation Planning: demonstrate leadership approach to S&OP process, coordinate S&OP reviews, challenge forecasts and assumptions, management and support for internal system, KPI management, data management, reporting

  • Demand Management: develop a comprehensive and realistic demand forecast in units, anticipate when and provide supporting detail to reach consensus on the demand forecast and to problem-solve, identify and articulate issues and decisions that need to be addressed in the Commercial S&OP meeting, challenge forecast assumptions, ensure the demand forecast is integrated into and synchronized with the supply and financial plans, continuously monitor variables affecting demand, develop accountability for forecast accuracy through KPI reporting and feedback to process participants, collect information on competitor’s sales, prices, benefits and products, manage new products introduction

  • Project management: propose, develop and run projects related to organizational effectiveness

  • Communication: support management team in business understanding and data management, develop and maintain communication links between finance, marketing, sales force, market access, customer service and business excellence to ensure proper execution of strategy and goals

  • KPI management: develop, maintain and constantly improve performance measures system in affiliate

  • Cost Reporting: gather, analyze and present Abbott Diabetes Care costs. Gather budget spent information and report it on timely manner to ADC managers to make sure that bottom-line targets are met

  • EHS: Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Environment, Health & Safety roles, standards and policies

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Labour Code, internal rules and procedures

  • Perform other tasks on Direct Manager direction

Education / Qualification / Experience:

  • University degree in business, finance or similar

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience within various roles in controlling or demand departments

  • Outstanding leadership, analytical, communication and presentation skills

  • Capabilities to challenge status quo and develop innovative processes and solutions

  • Understanding of customers and products

  • Know where to look to validate model hypotheses

  • MS Office Excel application on proficiency level

  • Fluent in English
