We are looking for a Distributor Contract Specialist (m/f/d) based in Wiesbaden.

Major Responsibilities

Overall contract management for Africa, Middle East, Turkey, India and Europe countries including but limited to the following:

  • Support of commercial organization in relation to distributor contract management

  • Understand decentralized Legal and Compliance structure of Abbott and liase with them in relation to distributor contracts

  • Manage process for selected distributor contracts

  • Coordinate legalizations and notarizations

  • Document management

  • Manage timely process for distributor contracts; liaise with country offices and Legal.

  • Ensure compliance with Abbott policies

  • Respond to complex inquiries regarding contractual obligations

  • Archive contract and monitor contracts and update information using an internal database

  • Ensure correct commission accruals and payouts in line with contractual obligations

  • Get approvals according to a financial policy

  • Coordinate process of setting up new distributors and changes to it with all stakeholders involved, i.e. APOC commercial organization, Legal, Compliance, Export Operations, Regulatory and Quality

  • Manage Projects from the contractual side, participate in weekly meetings with a remote team


  • Bachelors (Business Administration, Business Law), Paralegal or Legal assistant

  • Job experience preferably in contract processing and compliance

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Collaborative and Business partnership

  • MS Office experience with strong Word/Excel skills

  • Fluent in Business/Legal English
