Abbott Diabetes Care Germany (ADC) is looking for Finance Manager (m/f), based in Wiesbaden who will be supporting the Financial Controller in financial guidance to the organization. The position reports to the Financial Controller & Head of Commercial Excellence, has significant interaction with Commercial Head & Leadership Team ADC Germany as well as EMEA Senior Management. Responsibilities also include coordination and liaison with ADC Area Finance, Corporate Financial Services as well as 3rd party companies co-working in reimbursement invoicing processes.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all financial activity is completed in accordance with Abbott policies and procedures as well as local laws and regulations.

  • Provide leadership and day to day support to S&OP, LRP, LBE, etc. ensuring proper timeliness, accuracy and insightful analytics.

  • Organize and manage the reporting calendar and ensure all tasks and due date are properly communicated and all activities are planned to allow time for execution.

  • Provide financial and strategic support to Commercial Heads and Management Team during business reviews and in all other financial processes.

  • Provide financial leadership and day to day co-operation with 3rd party companies in reimbursement invoicing processes.

  • Prepare the forecast and actively drive efficiencies in the cash conversion cycle of the company.

  • Ensure that all risk and opportunities are evaluated, analysed and communicated in a timely manner to ADC Leadership Team.

  • Along with Business Excellence Manager ensure the alignment of Demand and Finance processes.

  • Provide continuous improvements in profitability/cost effectiveness for the benefit of ADC Germany / HQ.

Education / Qualification / Experience:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting. MBA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA desirable.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience within various roles in Controlling Department.

  • Finance business partnering & experience in close co-operation with commercial functions is a must.

  • Capabilities to deliver under time pressure, eager to grow and develop.

  • Outstanding leadership, analytical, communication and presentation skills. Capabilities to challenge status quo and develop innovative processes and solutions.

  • Must have excellent system skills, attitude and experience, especially with Essbase Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Previous successful experience supervising/managing staff is desired.

  • International experience or dealing with multiple countries/cultures appreciated.

  • Fluent in German and English.
