Abbott Diagnostics Division is looking for a Manager Product Quality Assurance Europe (m/f/d) for the Quality Assurance Department based in Wiesbaden/Germany, Sligo or Longford/Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and coordination of all Product Quality Assurance Activities

  • Oversight of Product Quality Assurance activities, incl. priority and resource management

  • Personnel management and training of Product Quality Assurance personnel

  • Coordination and maintenance of complaint processes with focus on timeliness, incl. but not limited to:

  • Coordination and documentation of complaint evaluations and investigations

  • Coordination and support of risk evaluations performed for potential Quality issues as well as subsequent field correction and vigilance activities

  • Identifies potential quality issues and actively drives resolution

  • Proactive improvement of relevant processes

  • Trending and tracking of complaint data and systematic evaluations

  • Support of the global potential RE/MDR/MDI analysis process and respective updates

  • Coordination of Product QA support for R&D projects, product transfers or other relevant projects

  • Presentation to internal and external customers

  • Representative for internal and external audits

  • Budget planning and control

  • Well established leadership skills and experience

  • Perception of safety aspects relevant for the area of responsibility

Your Profile:

  • Degree in natural science, quality management or comparable education is required to understand the nature of this business

  • Four years of experience in regulated industry

  • Excellent English language, presentation (oral & written) and negotiation skills are required for communication with Management and other Abbott sites
