Abbott Manager Training Development EMEA, Tendyne in Zaventem, Belgium

We are recruiting a Training Manager EMEA.

As a Training Manager, you will:

  • Create, implement and execute education programs for different HCP stakeholders as well as train new hires until they have completed all required training.

  • Plan, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and practices for achieving comprehensive Training programs for both internal employees and external customers.

  • Establish clinical proficiency goals that will facilitate positive clinical outcomes.

  • Support the company’s efforts to formulate and implement all training and development strategies.

More specifically, you will:

  • Implement existing and develop improved tactics for integrating field based sales and clinical support staff and execute strategies consistent with achieving Sales plan.

  • Design training and sales development programs with clear objectives for implementation and tracking.

  • Track successful and unsuccessful conversion from training to startup.

  • Actively work to promote team building and morale within the department.

  • Train employees to drive utilization through cultivating relationships with key investigators: interventionalists, echocardiologists, and Cardiac surgeons.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and align strategic messaging

  • Implement Physician training programs and Field Sales training programs.

  • Plan, schedule, and complete projects in a manner consistent with corporate objectives.

  • Provide support in the development of Training SOP's and measurement

  • Proactively support company goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and EU and US regulations.

  • Maintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, consultants, and co-workers.

  • Ensure compliance in performing the training and in reporting product experiences

  • Provide comprehensive reports on all training to assist executive management in strategic planning.

To be considered for this Training Manager role, you need to have:

  • a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the medical device industry preferably with 3+ years’ experience in a direct sales and/ or marketing role.

  • You have excellent communication skills with strong ability to interface with customers and key opinion leaders. You are organised, analytical, flexible, result oriented and performance driven.

  • You perform well under pressure and you are available to travel 30-40% of the time.

  • Fluency in English is essential. Any additional language would be considered an asset.
