Abbott National Sales Manager Electrophysiology in Zurich, Switzerland

Abbott Medical Switzerland is looking for an

National Sales Manager Electrophysiology (EP)

to lead to Swiss Team in Zürich within a strong growth strategy to its success.

In this role you are responsible for managing the EP Sales, Business Development and FTE teams to ensure the achievement of predetermined sales goals, growth and the development of the sales and professional within the Team in order to maximize revenues and profitable growth for Abbott Medical, Inc.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop the sales strategies and tactics most appropriate and effective for Swiss regional or country markets in order to achieve approved sales goals and maximize market penetration for strong growth

  • Ensure that sales representatives are obtaining all necessary product and technical skill trainings.

  • Monitor sales expenses and variable selling costs in order to maximize the profit margins on all products sold.

  • Support all new product introductions and clinical testing, as appropriate, within respective country or regional market.

  • Communicate or recommend new product ideas, competitive findings, any product enhancements, identified or uncovered by the sales force, to ensure that future markets are being pursued and opportunities for expansion and growth are realized.

  • Build and lead a high performance organization to deliver operating plans by hiring, training, coaching and developing direct reports, making best use of Abbott Medical resources.

  • Ensure that product and policy information, communicated by US-based divisions and European headquarters, is disseminated and understood by personnel.

  • Maintain all contacts and relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Lead Buyers, professionals within the medical community, or competitors, as appropriate, to maximize Abbott’s exposure within its industries and awareness of all industry information.

  • Responsible for the correct CRM Vigilance Reporting and Advisory Notices- handling, -reporting and -finishing;

  • Management and coaching of the Sales , BD and FTE team: Sales guidance and control of the staff assigned to him.

Your Profile

  • Several years in a comparable position as Sales Manager or Territory Sales Manager in EP or CRM Business with first Leadership Experience

  • Strong medical expertise in active cardiovascular devices, specialized on medical and medical engineering expertise for the respective medical device, and appropriate professional experience.

  • Successfully completed a training in a scientific, medical or technical profession which hasn't necessarily to be a high school education

  • Fluent in German and English; any additional language, particularly french, is an asset

  • The adequate and professional use of modern communication and IT tools is expected

  • Strong Leader, drive for growth and expansion but able to integrate into an existing team

  • Represent the Company in a professional manner and with highest integrity.
